So fire up your Netflix, check out our Top 20, and let us know in the comments if our ranking matches yours. Which means that at the bottom of this story lies our choice for the best Seinfeld episode of all time.
But we weren’t done - we also ranked them. What better time to dig deep - past the Soup Nazi and Masters of Their Domain - to name the cream of that crop, those top 20 episodes that combine the petty (and hilarious) trials and tribulations of Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer. Ill second The Gum, the 'George going crazy' subplot ties in so well with the Lloyd Braun stuff. Tightest writing and overlapping stories the show ever managed to pull off.

Which means that you will be able to stream any and all of the show’s 180 episodes (originally aired between 19 on NBC) whenever the mood strikes. Whichever one Im watching when I say, 'I actually think this may be my favorite episode.' Ive learned that it will always keep changing, every time I rewatch it. 1, one of the greatest and most bingeable sitcoms in television history, Seinfeld, arrives on Netflix. The episodes from seasons 1-5 were VERY different from episodes from seasons 6-9 - it was almost a different show with the same cast. The episodes still had entertainment value and were funny, but the show definitely wasnt the same. It’s possible that you’ve already circled the date on your calendar. After season 7 or 8 (around the time Larry David left), it just became a sitcom with weird and impossible plots. (Left to right) Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards You'll tell me when you feel comfortable. It's not awful, but it doesn't feel like Seinfeld.George Lange/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images And I'll tell you something else, I'm not even going to ask you. Season 1: There's really not a lot to say here. And I actually quite like The Final, the problem is most of the episodes before it. The characters just arent the same for some reason. I also really dislike how much worse everyone is behaving here especially Elaine, even towards each other. Theres a few episodes here and there, but I just cant get into how wacky and over the top the final two seasons are. There are some great episodes, but the vibe of the show is really off and it feels like the writers aren't trying to be as creative or intelligent, they are just making a sitcom. Season 9: I'm surprised how much worse season 9 was compared to how I remembered it. But the dialogue is amazing at spots and Chinese Restaurant is a top 10 episode. Season 2 still has great episodes, but it feels quite hit or miss and especially Kramer isn't really worked out as a character yet. Season 2: This is were there is a real drop in quality compared to seasons higher on the list. Things get more crazy and the show starts to get a lot bigger, but it's still funny and charming as hell. Season 8: While a lot has been said about Larry David leaving the show and don't think season 8 suffers that much from it. In a weird way some things seems a bit too stuck in reality, while still being weird compared to season 7. Season 6: Another great season (everything from 3-8 is top quality IMO), but it does feel like it has just a little less classic episodes than the seasons around it.

It also has my all time favourite episode The Fix-up.

While there are a couple of light misses there's also plenty of hits. Season 3: This is where the show really starts to find it's groove and the characters get into place. The reason 4 wins out is simply because it has an overall story arc and feels more ambitious. More than half the episodes feel like classics. Season 5: This is extremely close to season 4 for me. Season 4: I love how meta the Jerry arc is and there's just so many classic episodes and a show where the characters still feel somewhat real. It's Seinfeld going weird and getting more money for Storylines, without too much of the outright cynicism of later seasons. One Redditor loves Georges famous quote and Reddit user jasonalighieri replied, 'My favorite scene. Season 7: Pound for Pound just the season with the most great episodes. The season 5 episode 'The Marine Biologist' is a fan favorite, all thanks to George lying about having this job and saving a beached whale.

Just finished a rewatch of the full series from start to end, and I gotta say my ranking of the seasons ended up changing quite a bit compared to what I thought they were.
